TWO-CHARLIE-ZERO
CODIE: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much for joining me on this first ever edition of "What the Hale?!" I am your host, and Renegade Wrestling Women's Champion, Codie Hale!
CODIE: Tonight, we have not one, but two very special guests; please welcome The Clutch Performer, James Frost, and his tag team partner--pardon my French--The Bastard of Hardcore, Connor Beauchamp! They are Two-Charlie-Zero!
FROST: Always a pleasure, Codie.
BEAUCHAMP: ....
CODIE: First of all guys, welcome. Let me just me just say how absolutely excited I am to have you as my first guests on this program. I believe I can speak for everyone in the Renegade Universe when I say there are so many questions we want to ask, and I'll do my best to cover all of those here in a minute. But first, uh... tell us a little bit about yourselves! I mean, we three all know each other pretty well, but, you two are still fairly new to Renegade. For the benefit of those at home who may be unfamiliar with 2C0, why don't you give them a little rundown?
FROST: Well Codie, I'm not one to live in the past. I've gained a lot of success in several other promotions, such as SPW and, more recently, GCA Wrestling. While in GCA, I had the chance to team up with a couple of buddies of mine. Pacman Jackson, who is paving his own way in UNITE right now. And Yuri the reaper. My wife Kari was signed to GCA, so we got to hang out a lot... I became the Honor champion.... Oh yeah; and I got to meet and become great friends with this charismatic cajun to my left.
BEAUCHAMP: "Charismatic," he says...
CODIE: (laughs) You disagree?
BEAUCHAMP: I'm gonna be honest with you, Codie; I'm only here to break faces and take titles. My first appearance on GCA, that's exactly what I did. Debut match, became the eXtreme Champion. And I went on to hold that belt for longer than anyone else--at least until recently. But R3DD only beat my record on a technicality...
CODIE: It seems GCA Season 1 was a big run for both of you!
FROST: And you.
CODIE: Oh, don't get me started. I'm NOT very well-liked over there at the moment. (laughs) For obvious reasons.
FROST: (laughs)
CODIE: Hopping back on track: Frosty, it's been said a lot here recently, among fans, that this newfound friendship between you and Beauchamp has brought out a different attitude; a whole new side of you no one else has seen--and not everyone seems to like this new you. Do you agree that you've undergone a change? How would you address the criticisms currently being directed at you?
FROST: A change? Nah, I wouldn't say that. James Frost is who James Frost needs to be. I've been hearing it too! "Oh Frosty has turned heel in Renegade!" "Why Clutch, why?" I haven't turned heel. I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking... We both are! I see this Efed as a promotion with a lot of potential, but "asshats" are running this place. Codie, can I be real here for a second? I will anyways; if Robert would have run GCA the way that Mason runs Renegade... GCA would have gone under when Rick Reynolds and Lori Love bailed on him! That man is business, and he made it work... and strive!
CODIE: Yes, you guys have been very vocal about Renegade Wrestling and Mason Foster in particular since you arrived. It's clear you have no love lost for this company or the people who run it. So much so, that, out of protest, you've elected not to compete since your debut. Viewers are suggesting that you're ducking your competition--or worse--using your actions as a means to pressure management into handing you an easy championship match. How would you respond to these assertions?
BEAUCHAMP: (laughs) "Ducking." "Pressuring." Look, if we needed to do any of that to get a leg up over our competition, Mason wouldn't have come begging us to be here. We were ready to prove ourselves as the rightful faces of the tag team division our very first night in Renegade. But we didn't get to, because Renegade is a friggin' madhouse! Mason has ZERO control over this company--or if he does, his priorities are in the wrong place. You have guys like Dunkle Gott--god, I hate that ridiculous name--and Reptile ruining big debuts! You've got managerial staff inserting themselves into matches where they don't belong, stealing the spotlight away from promising new talent!
FROST: See, that's what eats at me the most; It doesn't even affect Connor and me, we're stars, and we'll shine in spite of the Efed we're in. It's the other guys! You have a lot of talent in a lot of these Efeds. And they get no love... no rub! It's the Efed owners pushing their own agenda, because it's their company. You see it in almost every promotion out there! Brad Skeens, great talent.... Figueroa is another... Sauron! Are these superstars gonna get a push? Nah, cause this place is gonna shove this ridiculous cult, "The Fallen Kingdom," down our throats, just because Mason Foster is running the show! No offense Codie.... but you're better than that!
CODIE: (clears throat) Alright. So, if I've got all this straight: You're asserting that established stars--such as Leo Fenix and Sylar Jordan--haven't earned their spots here in Renegade. While new and rising stars, like Diana, who has a championship opportunity at Crash Course, are not getting the recognition they deserve? And through this protest, Two-Charlie-Zero hopes to bring awareness to the issue?
BEAUCHAMP: We're not claiming to be some sort of "heroes." Now, that word may apply to others on the roster, but 2C0? We're just here to hit the "reset" button and reestablish the pecking order... Wanna chime in here, James?
FROST: 2C0 is here to tear the freaking house down and blow people's minds. Now, people can debate about our true intentions all night long. But we're here to clean this place up. And when we do, it's not just gonna be a win for Two-Charlie-Zero; it's gonna be a win for Renegade Wrestling.
CODIE: Interesting! Alright guys, looks like we're almost out of time. Again, I just want to thank you for being my very first guests here on "What the Hale?!" I think a lot fans are going to be chomping at the bit to hear what you two have to say!
CODIE: On that note, before you go is there anything you'd like to get off your chest here publicly, either to the Renegade Universe or anyone watching backstage or on the roster?
FROST: You know what? I'm done talking here. Codie, you are more than welcome to join Connor and me. We're off to tee up with Pacman Jackson and Britney Quinn for some pints in that little hole in the wall the two just bought.... Oh yeah: stay frosty!
CODIE: Ooh, I'll think about that!
CODIE: Well, you heard it all here tonight, folks! And that's only the first of many exclusive interviews to come! Tune in next week to hear from my next guest. It could be anybody; the man behind the show, Mason Foster himself. It could be my opponent at Crash Course, Diana. It could even be... Daniel Robertson!
CODIE: This has been "What the Hale?!" I am your host, Codie Hale. Good night, everyone!
